The primary eligibility requirement for admission to BTech LE courses at FIEM is that applicants must complete their BSc degree or Diploma in the relevant field with decent scores. Moreover, for the admission process, the institute accepts JELET scores. West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test (WB JELET) is conducted annually by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) to provide eligible candidates admission into the second year (third semester) of Bachelor's Degree courses in Engineering.

The primary eligibility requirement for admission to the BTech course is that applicants must complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% and must have studied Physics, Mathematics, and English as main subjects. Additionally, for the selection process, the institute accepts the relevant scores of WBJEE/ JEE Mains. 

For BTech LE courses, applicants must complete their BSc degree and Diploma in the relevant field and must have secured a valid score in JELET.

The eligibility requirement for admission to the BSc in Media Science course at FIEM is almost similar to the BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course. Applicants are first required to complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education and must have studied English as one of the main subjects in Higher Senior Secondary. Additionally, candidates must have secured valid scores in the MAKAUT CET.

Candidates seeking admission into the B.Tech programme at Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM) should have their 10+2 qualification in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology and scored a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) of marks in the qualifying examination. Admission to the programme shall be based on WBJEE or JEE Main scores although not exclusive to those two entrances. However, it does not pose a very stern age limit but still follows what the entry examinations assume for age eligibility.
