In 12th, you need to get a minimum of 75% and at least be in top 20k rank in order to get admission in any of the top NITs.

If you are a graduate in fashion or if you are a graduate in any other subject plus you have a Diploma in Fashion then you have a good scope in the fashion industry Export Houses / Buying Houses / Retail / Self Employment etc.
The roles are mainly as merchandisers. You can go upto Merchandise Manager

FIEM, Sonepur is a good private college in south 24 paragons in the vicinity of Kolkata. The placement is good for mainly computer science engineering, electronic communications engineering and information technology. Mechanical won't be that good from that college. I will suggest you to take Haldia
