As per my experience, LPU is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. LPU is providing its students witthe exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships etc. I am saying this as per my experience and is an alumnus of LPU, I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. Choosing which programme to join, and to which university you should go, is one of the most important decisions you will make. Before searching for any University, You should compare universities on various parameter like academics, Industrial exposure, placements, infrastructure, On-Campus Facilities & Amenities, Student Activities etc. So, choose the programme and the University to join very wisely. Highlights of the programme: Credit Transfer: Student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given the option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. International Exposure Option: Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Semester Exchange: Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of their students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). At the end of second year students get an option to choose one of seven different minors to pursue (IOT, Big Data, Web Development, Machine Learning, Android App Development, Data Science, Cyber Security). A student can opt for any, according to field of interest. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA!
Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields. Don't be disheartened. It is a great opportunity for the engineering graduates, as a job in any field (better, if related to technology) will, in the long run, help you grab work experience, which in turn will lead you to have your dream career with your dream package Any engineering stream will make you qualified enough for good jobs. Also, LPU has won National Employability Award 2020. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews.
