No, the test centre once allotted in the GAT-B 2025 exam cannot be changed. Therefore, candidates are advised to select the exam centres carefully. The details of the specific GAT-B exam centre will be mentioned in the GAT-B 2025 admit card.

NTA will conduct the GAT-B exam in one shift only. The GAT-B 2025 exam date and timings are as follows -

Yes, there is negative marking for the questions asked in the GAT-B 2025 exam. For one mark question, 0.5 marks is deducted for incorrect answer. On the other hand, for three mark question, one mark will be deducted for the incorrect response. Candidates are advised to go through the GAT-B 2025 exam pattern and instructions before attempting the exam.

If the question and option is incorrect in the GAT-B exam, then the question will be dropped. The reason could be due to the technical glitch or human error. In such case, full marks will be awarded to those who have attempted the GAT-B 2025 exam.

If more than one option is found to be correct to the question asked in GAT-B 2025 exam, then marks will be awarded to only those who attempted or marked any of the correct answers.

The exam pattern and marking scheme of GAT-B 2025 section "B" question paper is as follows -
- The section "B" comprises of the multiple choice questions of Bachelor's (Graduate) level that tests thinking and critical analytical skills.
- Questions are curated on the topics like Basic Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and allied areas.
- There will be a total of 100 questions out of which candidates will have to attempt at least 60 questions.
- Each question carries 3 marks.
- For each incorrect response, a negative marking of one mark will be done from the total marks.

The GAT-B exam pattern and marking scheme of section "A" is as follows -
- The section "A" of the GAT-B question paper comprises of 60 compulsory questions (multiple-choice questions).
- The questions will be of 10+2 level from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
- Each question carries one mark.
- However, there is a negative marking of 1/2 or 0.5 for each incorrect answer.
Candidates are advised to go through the GAT-B 2025 exam pattern and syllabus carefully before appearing for the exam.
