The GATE 2026 registration date is August 28 and is ongoing. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the GATE examination. The GATE registration link 2026 is activated on the official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

Category certificate is required to avail the concession in application fee. OBC candidates who want to appear in the GATE examination need to submit their category certificate at the time of registration. When it comes to filling in the application form, there is a certain relaxation in fees for category students. To avail the concession, candidates need to showcase their OBC certification.

Yes, Candidates can change their examination city after filling up the GATE application form 2026, candidates have to pay a fee for making the correction . Candidates needs to pay INR 500 for as correction charges.
