No, questions based on Engineering Mathematics are not asked in every GATE paper. Question papers with codes AR, CY, EY, GG, M.A. PH, and XL do not consist of Engineering Mathematics questions. Engineering Mathematics and General Aptitude are the compulsory sections, which include 15% weightage each in total marks in GATE papers with codes AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS EC, EE, IN ME, MN, MT, PE, PI TF, and XE. No, as per information brochure there is no change in GATE 2026 syllabus. This year, IIT Guwahati is conducting body for GATE 2026. The exam dates are February 7, 8, 14, and 15. Branch-wise exam dates have been announced.
