Students applying for GATE 2024 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate is allowed to appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 29 papers for which the GATE 2024 will be conducted, they have to carefully make a choice of the papers they wish to write. Yes, IISc Bangalore, the organizing institute of GATE 2024 has introduced a new subject - Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA). The syllabus for GATE 2024 DA paper can be downloaded from the website. Last year, Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (combined) and Geomatics Engineering were added as the new subjects. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE 2024 notification has been released. No change in GATE 2024 syllabus has been announced by the IISc Bangalore. The GATE exam 2024 will be conducted in February 3, 4, 10 and 11 for 30 papers. The GATE application form 2024 is available from August 30 to October 20. Yes, GATE scores are mandatory requirement for admission in full time M.Tech. Whereas M.Tech part time admissions are based on marks in qualifying degree.
