The eligibility criteria for taking admission in M.TECH is 55% in graduation.

On The Other Hand GRE is Entrance Test for entry into foreign university Science & Technology cources. And still not accteted By indian colleges or universitiesor IIT's.
So For Study in India GATE is the only choice.
