No, GLAT is not compulsory for Geeta Institute of Law admissions. While the Geeta Law Admission Test is conducted to select students for BA LLB & BBA LLB admissions, it is not mandatory. In case a student has appeared for CLAT/ AILET, etc., they may skip the test. Students must confirm the same with the institute.

Students have to meet the Geeta Institute of Law eligibility to get admission in the institute. The common eligibility is as below:
- GIL Panipat eligibility for BA LLB & BBA LLB - Class 12 with 45% (40% for SC/ ST)
- GIL Panipat eligibility for LLB - UG degree with 45% (40% for SC/ ST)
- GIL Panipat eligibility for LLM - LLB with a minimum aggregate of 50%
