George Mason University

The University Scholars Award is the highest academic distinction that Geroge Mason University offers to undergraduate students. The University Scholar Award covers the full cost of tuition over four years. Recipients are selected from the Honors College applicants who apply by the priority deadline, November 1; no other application is necessary. Every year, Mason awards millions of dollars in scholarships to incoming freshmen.

As per the U.S. News & World Report, George Mason University is now a top 10 public university for diversity, innovation, and cybersecurity. In the Washington Monthly 2022 college guide and rankings, the university ranks nationally at the 107th position.

Candidates have the option to submit ACT or SAT scores with their application, or they may apply Score Optional. If they decide to apply with ACT or SAT scores, George Mason University will use the self-reported SAT and/or ACT test scores as part of their holistic admissions process.
