In order to secure an admission, all overseas applicants must fulfill certain George Mason University admission requirements listed below:

UG

  • High school records
  • Official results of any leaving certificates or university entrance exams
  • English proficiency proof and
  • SAT/ACT scores (not mandatory).

PG

  • 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • English proficiency proof
  • 3.0 GPA
  • GRE/GMAT scores
  • Resume/CV
  • LORs 
  • Other course-specific requirements.

After submitting the George Mason University admission application, GMU will take 6-8 weeks to release a decision on your application. After recieving the admission decision, you can continue to your application.

A few of the things that GMU students can do on the weekends are:

  • Volunteer at one of the local animal rescues
  • Hike just to the west in Shenandoah National Park or Great Falls
  • Check the seasonal events from Waterford Day to Apple Blossom festival and many other Civil War sites
  • Do sightseeing in DC – the museums, China Town, art galleries, etc.
