While a GPA of 3.7 is considered as a fairly high GPA, it is not an only factor that will gaurantee admission in the Georgia Institute of Technology. The Georgia Institute of Technology is considered a prestigious university and take admissions very seriously and is very selective with an acceptance rate of roughly 16%. As per the official data, the average GPA of the current class was 3.70. The minimum GPA requirement for a lot of programs is 3.0 out of 4.0. But it is always considered as a safer option of have a GPA of 3.5-3.7 to increase chances of accepance. Aplicants should also focus on other admission requirements as those increase chances of acceptance as well.

• Transcripts for each year of secondary school study completed 

• There is no minimum score needed for IB; however, to be competitive, students should have scored between 6-7

• Higher-level math and sciences courses are encouraged but not required for competitive purposes.
