Yes. The Georgia Institute of Technology accepts IELTS scres as a proof of English language proficiency. The university also accepts test scores like TOEFL, and PTE  as a part of mandatory admission requirement of providing English language test scores. Below are the cutoffs for each test:

While a GPA of 3.7 is considered as a fairly high GPA, it is not an only factor that will gaurantee admission in the Georgia Institute of Technology. The Georgia Institute of Technology is considered a prestigious university and take admissions very seriously and is very selective with an acceptance rate of roughly 16%. As per the official data, the average GPA of the current class was 3.70. The minimum GPA requirement for a lot of programs is 3.0 out of 4.0. Below are the UG  International requirements for Georgia Tech: 

  • Transcripts for each year of secondary school study completed 

  • There is no minimum score needed for IB; however, to be competitive, students should have scored between 6-7

  • Higher-level math and sciences courses are encouraged but not required for competitive purposes.

  • Transcripts of 10th marks

No, international students are not eligible for federal or state scholarships. However, international students can apply for scholarships that are administered through Georgia Tech. International students are expected to cover their own expenses such as tuition fees and housing expenses. There are numerous philanthropic organizations and people that offer scholarships and financial aid to international students attending Georgia Tech.

Georgia Institute of Technology offers a wide range of courses to its students. Each course has some specific admission requirements which are mentioned on their respective course page. The minimum ACT/SAT score requirement for UG courses will vary from program to program. Generally, the SAT score required for most of the UG courses is in the range of 1360 - 1540. Meanwhile, the general ACT score requirement is in the range of 31 - 35.

For the Colleges/Institute that are affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical College or AKTU which was formerly known as UPTU. Following is the Eligibility Criteria for admission. Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Biology.
2. Admission to the B.Tech Programme would be done on the basis of rank obtained in UPSEE-2022. Management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counselling based on the merit of UPSEE-2022/JEE rank & merit in qualifying Examination.

You must take SAT or ACT to be considered for admissions in any of the universities in the USA for Bachelor's degrees.
