The German language requirements to study in Germany vary as per the university and course of your choice. However, most of the top universities in Germany accept candidates with C1 or at least B2 level proficiency in TestDAF or DSH exam.

For majority courses in top universities in Germany, you will require C1 level proficiency in the German language, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or DSH II certification. However, B2 level is also satisfactory and makes you eligible for admissions in many good universities in Germany.

Technical University of Berlin acceptance rate is around 52%. This means that the university is moderately selective at the time of admission. For admission to UG courses, the applicants must have school grades. On the other hand, the admission to Master's course, the applicants would require students to have a Bachelor's degree. In the case of UG courses, German language is required. On the other hand, the language requirements for Master's courses vary from programme to program. Master's courses are offered in English and / or German.

Some programs might require additional documents beyond the standard application package. This could include:

• Portfolio: Programs in fields like design, architecture, or fine arts might require a portfolio showcasing your creative skills and past work.
• Work Samples: Master's programs in some fields may ask for work samples or relevant professional experience documentation.
• Program-Specific Exams: Certain programs might require you to take additional entrance exams specific to that field.

German Students Visa 2025 New Changes: The German Foreign Ministry has launched a Consular Services Portal known as digital.diplo.de to reduce the processing time of Germany student visas. Students can now apply for visas online, fill out the application form, and submit the documents to get into the University of Bonn.
