German universities usually want you have IELTS overall 6.0 or 6.5 out of 9.0 for master courses. Some universities need 6.0 in all four parts of IELTS, you should check carefully.

Yes, Students from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board are considered for admission to German universities so long as they are eligible through the eligibility criteria given by the university. For NIOS students – “Check if the university you are applying for, accepts your academic qualifications or not”. the student has to go and check the universities criteria followed by them more accurate information.

No, there is usually no age limit to pursue German courses therefore you can pursue this course at any age.
German courses or any language courses for that matter do not have any age criteria. The colleges and entrance exam conducting bodies set all eligibility criteria. Make sure that you satisfy other eligibility parameters such as academic qualifications, marks criteria, appearing or passed criteria etc. before applying for this course. Some colleges, especially private colleges, may have their own age criteria.

If the education qualifications (i.e. your school degree) does not meet the criteria as an equivalent to the German education system, then you will be required to attend a Studienkolleg. If this is the case, there is no way to avoid the process.
