Students who have already completed their BA degree but wish to learn a new language like German for personal or professional reasons generally opt for a certificate course where they can learn about the basics of the language and build a strong foundation. Students who already know the foundational German language can choose to go for a UG degree, after which they can pursue a PG degree as well. Generally, students are admitted to German language colleges based on merit.

German universities usually want you have IELTS overall 6.0 or 6.5 out of 9.0 for master courses. Some universities need 6.0 in all four parts of IELTS, you should check carefully.

Yes, Students from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board are considered for admission to German universities so long as they are eligible through the eligibility criteria given by the university.
