Goa Institute of Management considers CAT scores for admission to PGDM programme. However, CAT is not compulsory. Aspirants with MAT, XAT, CMAT or any other accepted entrance exam scores can also get admission in PGDM.

The selection is done in two rounds, namely the regular and the achiever's rounds. For the PGDM course, a small number of candidates is selected for an early interview in Goa. Aspirants eligible for the achiever’s round can apply for ACCESS scholarships. Admission to PGDM course is based on XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. For PGDM BDA, aspirants must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. The selection process for PGDM course, includes XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index.
