Hi,
Learning foreign language has no concern with doing MBA or any other course unless you do your MBA abroad in the language you learn. It has nothing to do with a course. You can learn foreign language for better career options as it has a lot of scope further. Side by side you can carry on with MBA too.

Hello Tanmay, I feel there are enough opportunities for specialists in foreign languages. German or Mandarin or Italian etc. Enough work as translator. In addition, after PG, one can take up teaching job in school or college or even private tuitions. Best wishes.

There are several ways to become part of MEA. The best known is to join the IFS (or IFS-B) through UPSC Civil Services exam.

Hello Jhanvi,
M.A. in a foreign language in itself is good enough qualification for getting a job. Translation services, teaching, civil service, etc. It actually depends on what fascinates you. The sky is the limit. In addition, I will say that one must keep on improving skills at every stage in life.

Hello Mannu,
It all depends on what type of job you select. Translation fetches @ per page or words and your earnings depend on how much you are willing to work. On the other hand, if you do B.Ed or PG then you can get a job as a teacher in the school or college and you would get paid as per pay scales. You can work independently also by taking tuitions. Average salary or earning, in the beginning, could be Rs.25K and keep increasing as you gain experience.
