A course-wise placements report has not been released by the authorities. In the 2023 placements as per an overall report, a total of 77 companies took part and selected 330 students. The highest package offered during the placements stood at 14.75 LPA. Some of the top companies that participated in the placements drive were IBM, Nagarro, Haldiram's, Amazon, etc. 

Admission to the UG-level course is merit/JEE score based. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can visit the university website to apply. After application submission, it is scanned by the authorities and cutoff list is published. The applicants who meet the cutoff criteria then need to take part in HSTES counselling. In the counselling, seats are allotted and cutoff is released for each round of counselling until all the seats are filled.

The university has a seat count of 60 for BPharm course admissions. Students are admitted as per the sanctioned seat intake. For selection, the candidates performance in the qualifying examination is considered. The seat allotment is carried out through counselling round. It must be noted that the seat intake is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to change and hence, is indicative.

GJUST releases seat allotment list for BPharm based on which students are admitted. For admission confirmation, students need to report at the college within the due date against each counselling round and pay the fees and verify the documents to confirm their seats for final admission. The total GJUST BPharm tuition fee is INR 32,400, hostel fee is INR 25,400 and a one-time fee of INR 2,000. This fee amount is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. The counselling rounds depends upon the number of applicants, seat availability, and more. GJUST conducts counselling rounds for BPharm until all the seats are filled. In the past, four rounds of counselling was conducted followed by two physical spot counselling for admission to the UG programmes. In 2023, GJUST BPharm cutoff was 93 for the General-All India category.
