Over the past three years, the cut-off ranks required for GMC Aurangabad MBBS admission have shown an inconsistent or fluctuating trend. In 2024, the closing rank for the last round of MBBS admission was 12,470 for the General AI category candidates. The same was 21,484 in 2023 and 18,560 in 2022. As per the GMC Aurangabad NEET UG cut-off 2024, the closing rank for MBBS admission during the last round of AIQ counselling was 12,470 for the General AI category candidates. The last round cutoff for the same category was 21,484 in 2023 and 18,560 in 2022 for admission.
For the OBC category candidates, the last-round cutoff rank stood at 14,048 for MBBS admission under the AI quota. For the candidates belonging to the SC category, the cutoff closed at 95,456 in the final round.

To secure a seat for MBBS at GMC Aurangabad, prospective candidates are required to take the NEET UG exam, which is conducted by the NTA. The seat allocation process is based on the candidate's rank obtained in the NEET exam through various counselling rounds conducted by the MCC for the All-India Quota, and Maharashtra CET for the State/In-service Quota. As of now, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has not released the NEET UG counselling dates for GMC Aurangabad MBBS admission 2026. It is expected to be released in July 2026.

The accepted entrance exam for GMC Aurangabad MBBS admission is NEET UG. As of now, the NTA has not released the exam schedule and application dates for NEET UG 2025. The NEET 2025 registration process will tentatively begin in the first week of March 2025. The registration window will remain open till the first week of April 2025 (tentative). The exam is expected to be conducted in the first week of May 2025.

As per the GMC Aurangabad MD cut-off released for Round 2 of NEET PG counselling 2024, MD in Radio Diagnosis, with the closing rank of 530, was the most competitive specialisation for the General AI category candidates. On the other hand, it was the easiest to secure a seat in MD in Physiology, with the closing rank of 99,911 for the General AI category candidates.
Among the OBC AI candidates, MD in Radio Diagnosis was again the most difficult specialisation to get admission to. The admission during the Round 2 closed at the rank of 645. The least difficult course for the OBC AI category turned out to be MD in Forensic M
