Yes Gujarat National Law University has a placement cell. Placement department is known as Committee on Recruitment Affairs (CRA).

Committee comprises faculty, students & staff members. Objective of CRA is to make a smooth bridge between potential recruiters & students, bring them to single platform for better career opportunities.

The mode of application at GNLU is Online through CLAT. GNLU admission process is entrance-based. Around 68% students were placed in the Law Firms followed by Litigations, Corporate Houses and Government Undertakings wherein 13%, 11% and 3% students were placed, respectively during GNLU placements 2024. Apart from this, the placement rate recorded during UG 5-year placements 2023 was 100%.

Candidates seeking admission to BA/ BCom/ BSc/ BSW/ BBA-LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes need to apply for the CLAT Exam. The consortium of National Law Universities conducts the Common Law Admission Test  (CLAT) to shortlist candidates for UG and PG law programmes. Additionally, students looking forward to practice law in India must clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) conducted by BCI.
