Applying to Goethe University may differ from applying to any other university in Germany in various aspects such as application deadlines, application fees, course-specific eligibility criteria, and other language score requirements among others. The application fee to get into Goethe University depends on the number of courses a student applies for. For the DAAD Scholarship for International Graduates,   and Undergraduates, students need to apply within 15 months of arriving in Germany. Indian students looking to apply for scholarship can also apply through the German embassy in their home country.
