To secure admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme at Government College of Engineering (GCOEA), Amravati, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Admission is based on valid scores from MHT CET or JEE Main exams. Preference is given to JEE Main-qualified candidates during the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

To be eligible for a B.E./B.Tech. programme at Government College of Engineering, Amravati (GCOEA), candidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 45% marks, and must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must also have passed one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subjects, Computer Science, IT, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies.

A bachelor's degree: Applicants must have a master's degree in the field of engineering and technology or equivalent qualifications from an approved college. Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination. Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) relevant to the M.Tech specialisation they are applying for.
