So, Sasi Institute of Technology & Engineering—people just call it SITE—is this private college out in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh. It's been around since 2002, which, I mean, isn't ancient but it's not brand new either. They're hooked up with JNTU Kakinada (that's their university connection, in case you're wondering) and yeah, all the official boxes are checked: AICTE approval, NAAC 'A' rating, NBA accreditation—pretty much all the badges you want to see. The place runs on its own dime, too, not some government cash flow, and it's run by the Sasi Educational Society. If you're looking for undergrad, postgrad, or even Diploma

Admission to Cooch Behar Government Engineering College is moderately competitive mainly depending on your JEE Main or WBJEE rank and category.
Top branches like CSE and ECE usually require a pretty high WBJEE score around 50000 to 70000 for General category candidates so you need a mid-to-upper-level rank. Branches such as Civil and Mechanical tend to have higher closing ranks. Cutoffs are somewhat relaxed for students belonging to reserved categories generally nationwide.

Mess food at Cooch Behar Government Engineering College CGEC is pretty decent and rather hygienic for students mostly. Reviews highlight meals served decently in clean environments with fairly varied nutritional value. Students manage a system or mess committee which helps maintain quality fairly effectively under normal circumstances. Food here generally meets expectations and contributes very positively towards life at this somewhat quirky hostel.
