So, The Sumathi Reddy Institute is a self-financing, autonomous women's engineering college.

It's a small private, unaideed college founded in 2010, run by a local educational trust. It's AICTE approved and affiliated to VTU. It's not government funded. So decisions like fees, admissions are more under the trust, not the state government. It has a nice infrastructure and companies like Wipro and IBM visit.
