Hi Harika, 290 is an average GRE score, you may or may not get into a top ranked university and this will depend on your overall profile. Also your IELTS is low. 6.5 band is required generally. You must have completed your Bachelors with good grades too. Your SOP and LORs will also be counted. If the application package is strong then you have a chance.

Hi Elizabeth, it is difficult to suggest universities randomly without knowing the entire profile. And also, you have to mention what do you want to study, where do you want to study, etc.

Not every university in Canada requires a GRE score. You have to check the university websites for entry requirements accordingly.

GRE is a pre-requisite to get admission in most institutes offering admission in MS (any branch). However, there are institues which offer admission into MS based on marks obtained in undergraduate field of study.
