It is more of a back office operation profile where they need to manage the ticketing and dissemination of passengers. Their job involves issuing the passengers their tickets, get their luggage stamped, and to handle issues due to late/early departure and arrivals. Hi there,
You can do the same provided there is a vacancy as such. And also for purpose of ground staff you need to have certain specialised qualifications. The qualifications however differ based on nature of job and mostly aeronautical engineering students are preferred for ground staff else there are jobs that really need not much of qualifications as such and you might be temporarily employed.

Certification in Airport Services is offered by Jet Airways Training Academy. After, you have completed this course you have a chance for employment in major airlines.
