GTU does not promise 100% job placement for every student. Placement rates at the university, similar to other institutions, depend on factors like academic achievement, skills, industry needs, and the university's career services. Though GTU maintains corporate partnerships and coordinates on-campus recruitment, placement outcomes can fluctuate by academic programme and individual student preparation. College to college variations may exist in the prerequisites for admission to BTech programmes. Nonetheless, the following are the fundamental requirements for admission to Gujarati BTech colleges: Applicants must have received at least 60% of the possible points from an accredited board in the subjects of mathematics, chemistry, and physics in their Class 12 test. In addition to their Class 12 grades, aspirants must pass standard entrance tests such as JEE Main, GUJCET, and other university-specific entrance exams in order to be considered for admission.

This scholarship scheme is available from students of class 11th to postgraduate level. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, and other categories can apply for this scholarship. In order to apply for this scheme, students must have at least 70% marks in class 10th.

The cost of tuition for an MBA programme is INR 12,500 each semester.

Technical University of Gujarat corporations give packages of between $3 and $4 lac annually; TCS, Federal Bank, and Apollo are a few examples of corporations that have been invited to GTU for campus placement. businesses that are invited off-campus for the batch 2022–2023 are also invited here; on average, these businesses package 3–4 lac, and 70% of students are packaged off-campus, which is a strong placement.

The JEE Main or GUJCET results are used to determine admission to GTU B.E., and ACPC counselling comes next. Based on CMAT scores, GTU grants admission to MBA programmes; ACPC then conducts counselling. GTU Ahmedabad accepts GATE/PGCET scores for admission to the M.E. programme.

If you would like to take direct admission into B.Tech at Gujarat Technological University then you take admission based on merit score of class 12th. If you have a good score in class 12th, then you will face no problem, you can get admission very easily.

The per semester fee for GTU MBA is INR 13,125. Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category) to apply for MBA admission. The selection will be based on CMAT marks and the seat allotted by ACPC Gujarat.
