The Central University of Gujarat provdes various B.A programs with limited seat availability.

• For the B.A. (Hons) + M.A. in Social Management, a 5-year integrated course, the university provides 33 seats.
• Similarly, the B.A. (Hons) in Chinese and B.A. in German Studies have 33 and an unspecified number of seats, respectively.

Admissions to these programs are based on the Central University Entrance Test (CUET). SMAID is a private institute established in 2012. SMAID stands for Shantaben Manubhai Patel School of Studies and Research in Architecture and Interior Design. It offer courses like B.Des, B.Plan, B.Arch, M.Des, M.Plan. It offers a blend of industry exposure, state-of-art infrastructure, Design studios, highly qualified faculty, good placement assistance and opportunities, live projects, summer internships, diverse peer group and many more. Many top recruiters like Deloitte, Accenture, IBM, Adani Group and many more visited in the campus placement drive of SMAID. The median package of B.Arch students was INR 3.10 LPA. 20 students out of 39 B.Arch students got placement in placement drives of 2020 and 2021.

Gujarat University is a Public/ Government universityb established in 1950. Shantaben Manubhai Patel School of Studies & Research Architecture & Interior Design (SMAID), was established in 2012 as an affiliated institute to SPU, Vallabh Vidyanagar. The institute provides a wide range of architecture and interior design undergraduate and graduate courses. Merit-based admission to the SMAID is determined in addition to entrance exam results. Furthermore, SMAID offers good infrastructure with state of art facilities to give students the best possible environment. In addition, the SMAID faculty members have extensive expertise and are graduates of recognised universities. The scores of the candidates in NATA entrance exam determines their admission to the B.Arch programme at SMAID.

The Central University of Gujarat offers admission to various UG courses based on CUET UG scores followed by round-wise counselling. The university releases the merit lists for candidates who qualify for the cutoff.
