No, admissions at Gujarat University are done through Gujarat University entrance exam or GUJCET. To be eligible to appear for any one of these exam, a candidate would need  to score anywhere between 45% to 50% in Class 12. Since your score does not qualify at this university, you can try to pursue BSc from other colleges or through colleges offering online BSc courses.

Yes, you can apply for 4th semester. You can write your 4th semester exam even if you fail in all the subjects of your 3rd semester. But if you have more than 4 backlogs when you are going to an odd semester from even semester then you will get Year Back. Most institutions have policies that allow students to progress to the next semester even if they have failed some or all subjects in the previous semester, provided they meet minimum attendance and other requirements.

For more the latest information please visit the official website of your respective colleges or by contacting the admission office.

The Gujarat University is an older university compared to HNGU. Candidates can consider other factors, such as fees, placements, cut-off marks, reviews, available seats, courses, and other relevant details. The table below mentions the fee and overall Shiksha review for both universities regarding the BSc course:

UniversityCourse FeeOverall Shiksha Review

BSc at Gujarat UniversityINR 3,600 - INR 9.7 lakh4.0

NOTE: The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and, hence, is indicative.
