Lateral entry is for diploma students not for engineering students. So, you cannot switch the university. However, I will suggest you to continue with the same college only, as college doesn't matter its you who make the difference.

You don't need Mathematics for B.Com(H) in GGSIPU. You can now apply for it online. Fill out the form. You will have to take an entrance test. The syllabus of the entrance test : 1. Verbal Ability ( English language, grammar and vocabulary) 2. Numerical Ability ( basic maths studied up to class 10th) 3. General knowledge (Current affairs + GK) 4. Logical Reasoning.

I would suggest you more for GGSIP University. Maharaja Agrasen Institute is also good, but GGSIP is more reputed and equivalent to DU.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will release IP University 2019 application form for both UG and PG courses in online mode by the first week of March 2019. Candidates should take note that the last date to fill the application form would be in the first week of April 2019 for some courses like MA in English, Economics, B.Com, Bachelors of Science in Nursing etc. While for other courses like B.Ed. and BA in Economics, Masters of Science in Nursing, etc., the last date would be in the fourth week of April 2019.
