The BCA cutoff at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is based on the IPU-CET entrance exam rank.
For General category, the closing rank is usually around 3000–3500.
For OBC, it is about 3500–4000 rank.
For SC/ST, it can go up to around 4500–5000 rank depending on the college and round of counselling.

For getting admission at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) through CUET, candidates have to fill the application form on the official website of NTA. Following this, they have to appear for the exam, and regist on the IPU admission portal. Seats are allotted via online counseling based on CUET scores.

GGSIPU has all the qualities of a tier 1 university. The university placements are good. Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and CloudTechner recently offered placement packages to the AI & ML & AI-DS students. The infra of the university is also good. The classrooms are embedded with the latest & modern technologies.

To be eligible for GGSIPU BTech (lateral) admissions, candidates need to clear the BSc course with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Candidates must clear a BSc course with Mathematics as a mandatory subject as well to apply for BTech (lateral) at GGSIPU.

No, general category candidates with an aggregate of 50% in Class 12 board exams are not eligible for GGSIPU BTech courses. To be eligible for BTech at GGSIPU, candidates need to score a minimum of 55% in their Class 12 board exams in the relevant stream.
Hoever, candidates of non-general category may get relaxation in the eligiblity criteria, making them eligible for GGSIPU BTech admission.

The tuition fees for the BTech (lateral entry) corses at GGSIPU is INR 5.6 Lacs in 2026. This fees contains the tuition fees for 2026, 2027 and 2028. Candidates will be paying the installments of other fee components for the above mentioned years with the BTech (lateral entry) tuition fees.
