At the UG level, the college offers four-year BTech, BSc, BBA, and BCA courses to students. At the PG level, the college offers two-year MCA and MTech courses to students. The college also provides two to three-year Diploma courses to students. BTech is provided in 8 specialisations, namely Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, and others. BTech (Lateral) is also available in the college.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT cutoff 2024 will be released after each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses. Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT JEE Main cutoff 2024 will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks for different categories under the AI Quota. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct 6 rounds of JEE Main Counselling in June.

In both colleges, students are eligible for placements in the 7th semester. Companies like Amazon, , Wipro, Capgemini, TCS visit NIT Narula Institute of Technology whereas companies like Accenture, TCS, juspay visit GNIT. Both colleges are equal in terms of the average package which is around INR 4 LPA. But the highest package in GNIT i.e., 26lpa is more than that in NIT Narula Institute of Technology i.e., INR 18 LPA. The placement is also quite similar in both colleges; around 70-75% of students got placed in 2023.
