Yes, GNIT- Guru Nanak Institute of Technology does accept the WBJEE entrance examination result for the BTech and its various branches. The entrance examination results are published in the form of ranks for various All India categories, like General, OBC, etc.

The rank needed for GNIT admission to various BTech branches would depend on which category the student belongs to and which branch they have chosen. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 410186 to 1299159. As per the last date, the most difficult specialisation was BTech CSE (AI and Data Science), with the cutoff being 818107. Hence, the rank required should be at least 1299159 or below. 

Students can refer to the table below to know the first and last round cutoff for the General AI category.

GNIT WBJEE cutoff 2025 was released for the various BTech course specialisations for the All India quota categories. 

For the BTech CSE( AI and DS) branch, the GNIT BTech cutoff 2025 fell between the ranges of 410186 and 818107, according to the first and last rounds for the General AI category. For the same category, for the BTech CSE branch, the overall cutoff was between 419731 and 878724

Note: The cutoff for other categories will differ accordingly.

Admission to the B.E. and B.E. (Lateral) offered will be done based on the candidate's performance in MHT-CET/JEE Mains and admission to M.Tech will be based on valid scores in GATE. Some of the top recruiters that recruit GNIT students include Cognizant, IBM, DELL, Infosys among various others.

GNIT IPU is a constituent unit of GN Group of Institutes. The institute offers a four-year BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). The course duration is further divided into eight semesters. The first-year curriculum followed for BTech in CSE is common for all specialisations. It includes foundation-level subjects, such as Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Engineering Mechanics, etc. The curriculum for other three years includes subjects relevant to the stream of Computer Science & Engineering. Each subject carries certain credit points.

The WBJEE JELET cutoff for Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) in Kolkata varies by course and category. The cutoff for 2024 for some courses included: 

B.Tech. in Information Technology: 85,251

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering: 83,746

B.Tech. in Food Technology: 106,656

B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Science Engineering: 108,813

The cutoff for the last round of seat allotment for the B.Tech. in Information Technology (Lateral Entry) course in 2024 ranged from 58,848 to 108,867.
