Yes, the MBBS course offered by Jamia Hamdard University is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Jamia Hamdard admission to MBBS is through NEET-UG Counselling by MCC. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Once the counselling is over, MCC allots seats under different categories.

There is a total intake of 150 seats in MBBS course of Jamia Hamdard. Candidates are offered seats to MBBS course through NEET-UG Counselling. The NEET counselling is divided into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Besides, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85% state quota seats.

All seats (General, Muslim Reserved & NRI) are allotted through NEET-UG Counseling through MCC of DGHS under MoHFW, GoI only. Below are the steps to apply for NEET-UG for Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission:

No, Hamdard Institute of Medical Science and Research under Jamia Hamdard University does not accepts donation. As per the official website, HIMSR don’t take admission through any counselor/s, agent or any other third party. All the admission to MBBS programme is allotted by Medical Counseling Committee of DGHS under MoHFW, Government of India, through NEET-UG Counseling only. If in case anyone pay any amount to third party,  agent or counselor HIMSR, JHU will not be responsible for any refund or admission.
