The faculty at Haryana Engineering College is, as such, considered good and collaborative. Many students appreciated help and cooperation from the teachers. Generally, the faculty was viewed as highly qualified and very motivated toward student success. It is one of the well-known schools in Haryana offering B.E./B.Tech programs in various disciplines, such as Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering. For entry, students are required to have JEE Main scores and have undergone the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) counseling process. Most of the students feel that the quality of food served in the hostel mess of Haryana Engineering College is up to the mark. Many reviews state that the food provided in the mess is satisfactory because of the availability of a variety of foodstuffs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
