Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University [HNBGU] Courses

HNBGU Pauri Campus has eleven schools affiliated to itself. These schools encompass the domains of Agriculture, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Education, Humanities, Law, Managment etc. Some flagship courses include BSc, BCom, MCA, LLB, MBA etc. UG programmes have a duration between three to four years while PG programmes extend up to two years. The total tuition fees vary between INR 4320 and INR 1.5 lakh. This information has been taken from last year's fee structure available on the official HNBGU website and may change.

Candidates can chose major electives in the four semester (second year) of the programme. A choice is given to select one elective out of two choices under major 3 and major 4. The elective-3 and elective-4 are mentioned below:

Candidates seeking admission shall first check that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The eligible students can proceed with registration and then submit the application form. HNB Garhwal University BTech admission is subject to scores in the CUET-UG exam. If seats are left vacant after the CUET merit list is exhausted, then those are filled through university counselling merit list students based on JEE scores. After each merit list, the seat allotment is done through counselling. After seat allotment, students can pay an admission fee amount to confirm their seats. 

Students of the University also avail the following privately sponsored Merit-cum-Need based Scholarships: 1. Shri Kalyaneshwar Temple Scholarship: The Kalyaneshwar Temple Trust, Srinagar, grants scholarships to meritorious poor students of both Under - Graduate and Post-Graduate Courses.

To be eligible for HNBGU B.Ed course admission, aspirant should have a valid Bachelor's or PG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering and specialisation in Science and mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate are eligible for admission. The degree should have been issued by a recognised university. Candidates also have to submit the educational certificates for verification purposes (original/scanned copies).

HNGBU admission 2025 to various courses is based on CUET 2025 scores followed by counselling. HNBGU Uttarakhand accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to BSc, BPharm, BCom, BTech, BA, BHM, Integrated MSc, BCA, BBA, and BA LLB courses. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list are eligible to pay the admission fee for provisional admission.
