Yes, apart from MBBS, MS, MD it easy to get admission in Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University because all other courses you do'nt have to give competetive exam but for MBBS, MS and MD you have to give NEET exam which is very difficult and tough for that you have to be very much consistence and determined.

The cutoff details are based on the NEET PG 2023 counseling conducted by HNBUMU. The cutoffs can vary each year depending on factors like the number of seats, competition, and candidate performance in NEET PG.
This year (2024) the cutoff for MS General Surgery for the UR-OPEN category is 32,650 in Round 1 and 40,582 in Round 2. The cutoff for MS ENT for the UR-OPEN category is not currently available.

For MBBS there is 100 percent placement for all the students who want to apply for job or resident work in state government or other private opportunities in the State itself.
For MS and MD courses also there is 100% placement opportunities with average package of INR 15 LPA.

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttrakhand Medical Education University cutoff list will be released after the first round of counselling only.
For Nursing admission the cutoff list is already released and present in the website of the university.
While for admission in MBBS, cutoff list will be released after release of 1st state merit list which will be around 2nd week of July 2024.

Yes the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttrakhand Medical Education University refunds the fees for medical students who opt for different colleges after the first round of counselling for admission in MBBS or Nursing courses.
While once admission is taken in particular college then no refund of fees is possible.
