Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions offers courses at UG, PG and Diploma levels through seven institutes. The courses are offered in multiple streams such as Management, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Engineering, etc. in affiliation with HPTU. Candidates who have completed Class 12 can apply for UG courses. Graduation is required to apply for any of the PG programmes.

Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, Sirmour has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.Ed | Candidate must have passed graduation in any stream from a recognised college/ university with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/OBC category). |
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology in a relevant stream from a recognised board with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates). or Candidate must have passed B.Sc. from a recognised college/ university with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates) and must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject. |
