The primary eligibility requirements for admissions to BSc courses at HIMT Chennai are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the admission process, the college accepts valid IMU CET scores. There are different eligibility requirements too, that candidates must follow before getting admission, such as candidates' age should be: General: 27 years, OBC (NCL): 30 years, SC/ST: 32 years (from the commencement of the academic session).

Candidates can get admission to the lateral BTech course at HIMT Chennai after completing the eligibility requirements. Check out the eligibility criteria required to get lateral entry in the BTech course:

First year of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering course with an aggregate of 60%
