The most important tip for students taking admission in the first year to Hindu College must be Self-Confidence. One should always be confident. Life in Hindu College is an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. As soon you get admission you'll get Fresher's party, and after there will be various events and seminars on a weekly basis. Activities like dance, music, photography, debate, entrepreneurship, fashion, etc will also take place. There are all kinds of activities and you can join them according to your interest. Hindu College is located in North Campus and there are various hostels and PGs nearby. Hindu college itself has hostel facility for which you have to apply during admission and there will be a merit list of students whosoever will be alloted, and DU itself has hostels like Rajiv Gandhi girls hostel etc. For which you can apply but to be very honest these hostels are alloted on the basis of marks and are limited in number but you need not to worry as there are many PGs available near the college in Vijay Nagar, Kamla Nagar.
