No, there is no provision for direct admission to BA LLB (Hons) at HNLU Raipur. Admission is provided only to the applicants who meet the preset eligiblity criteria and clear the CLAT cut-off. Interested candidates must apply for CLAT by visiting the official website of the Consortium of the NLUs. While applying, they must select HNLU Raipur at the top of their preferred NLUs. After the declaration of CLAT results, they must register for the CLAT counselling process by visiting the same website. Based on the ranks obtained by the candidates in the CLAT exam, they will be allotted seats in their preferred NLUs. In each round of counsell

Yes, HNLU Raipur reserves 30% of the total seats (horizontally) for female candidates across all the categories. Additionally, the university follows seat reservation policies as mentioned below:
- 5% of the seats are reserved horizontally for Specially Abled Persons (SAP) at the All-India level as per The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
- 5% of the seats are reserved horizontally for the Specially Abled Persons (SAP) belonging to the State of Chhattisgarh only
- 3% of the seats are reserved horizontally for the Dependents of Freedom Fighters (DFF) category candidates belonging to the State of Chhattisgarh only

HNLU Raipur has a total intake of 180 students for its BA LLB (Hons) programme. This includes the seats for All-India category (85), seats reserved for the candidates with Chattisgarh Domicile (85), NRIs (8) and Foreign National category (2). Additionally, there are 7 supernumerary seats (over and above the sanctioned intake). 5 of these seats are reserved for wards of Kashmiri Migrants and 2 seats are reserved for students from Jammu & Kashmir. The mentioned number of seats has been sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.
