Scope of Hospital management programme in India. Firstly, this Hospital/Healthcare is amongst the fastest growing sector in India and worldwide, because of which there is a high demand of managerial skills in this sector. This high growth is expected to be there for next two decades.
Secondly, there is a gap in presence of managers in hospital industry. One reason for this is, the students doing MBA largely comes from engineering or commerce stream and they usually take up employment in non-healthcare sectors. Due to this there was a need for preparing managers who can specifically work in hospitals.
