Hotel Management Entrance Exam

The NCHMCT JEE stands for National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination. Every year, the National Testing Agency administers the NCHMCT JEE exam on behalf of the NCHMCT. The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology and IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) together offer a three-year Bachelor of Science in HHA program. All of the partnering institutes recognise the NCHMCT JEE score for admission to their respective Bachelor of Science in HHA programs. Applicants are advised not to fill out the NCHMCT JEE Application Form if they do not match the requirements for eligibility. Should an applicant fill out the form despite not fulfilling the qualifying requirements, their application would be declined. Candidates can check the NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria below:

• You need to have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (SSE) in the 10+2 system or an equivalent exam from an accredited educational board.
• On a provisional basis, those who are taking their Class 12 test this year may also register for NCHMCT JEE. When applying for counselling or admission, they will have to provide documentation that they passed the exam.

• The age restriction varies by category for NCHMCT JEE appearances:

Candidates who are general/OBC must have been born on July 1, 1997, or after.
Candidates from SC/ST: Must have been born on July 1, 1994, or later.

The eCHAT (Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test) is an important part of the IIHM Goa admissions process in 2024. Although particular cutoff scores for this year have not been announced, candidates are normally need to earn at least 35 out of 50 on the eCHAT to be considered. To be admitted, applicants must succeed in the subsequent group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) rounds in addition to passing the eCHAT. The actual cutoff for eCHAT varies dependent on criteria such as the number of candidates, the test's difficulty level, and the course applied for. Thus, striving for a good score is critical to increasing your chances of admission to IIHM Goa.
