The NCHMCT Entrance exam consist of the following sections –
1) Quantitative Ability
2) Reasoning
3) English
4) GK and Current affairs
5) Service aptitude
It doesn't matter that whether you have science, commerce or arts in 12th. NCHMCT JEE is an aptitude test and any student from any stream can crack it. Quants contain questions of 10th level only so don't worry about that and other sections are new to everyone. If you are determined you can easily crack the exam and get into top IHMs.

Hi,
You should try to be under AIR-400 to be in a safe side. For OBC candidates, last rank was around AIR-2100. For SC and STs, the last rank was around AIR-40004100. If you answer more than 150/200 questions correctly, you will surely get rank under 400. All the best!

Yes you can do both courses parallel as well. But you have to do hotel management on regular basis, and event can be on distance mode. Then only you can do both together. But seriously if you asked, then I will suggest you event management course after graduation. There are a lot of opportunities in event management course. Because each and every organisation need to organize a event either its on small level or big one. So scope of event management is very wide.

Sudhanshu,
Top ranking National Council of Hotel Management colleges are the best option. Amongst them, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru are considered to be the top options. Other than them, Welcome Group Hotel Management-Manipal and Christ University IIHM are considered good.
