The total duration of HP LEET is 2 hours. During the allotted time, the candidates will have to attempt 100 objective multiple-choice questions. No extra time will be provided to the candidates to complete the entrance examination. Candidates are advised to practice and boost their time management skills so that they are able to complete the entrance exam before the entrance exam.

As per the official HP LEET exam pattern, the authorities will conduct the entrance exam as a pen-and-paper-based test. No other mode will be used to conduct HP LEET. Candidates will have to report to the exam centres and attempt the entrance exam. Each question will have four options and the correct one has to be selected and marked in the OMR sheet. It is important to mark the answers on the OMR sheet carefully, otherwise it will not be accepted by the authorities.

The candidates will have to prepare for the upcoming entrance examination by referring to the official HP LEET syllabus. As per the official syllabus of HP LEET, the candidates will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It is to be noted that the HP LEET syllabus will be based on the syllabus of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education for Matriculation. All of the mentioned topics have to be studied carefully to have a higher chance of performing well in the exam.

HP LEET syllabus will be released online at hptechboard.com. Candidates will be able to check the list of topics that the candidates will have to study for the entrance exam through the HP LEET syllabus. Based on the syllabus of HP LEET, the candidates will have to prepare for the exam. Before the entrance exam, the candidates are advised to complete the topics of the HP LEET syllabus so that they have ample time to revise.

Candidates will be required to pay the HP LEET application fee while filling out the form. The General category candidates will have to pay INR 650 while the SC/ST/OBC category candidates will have to pay INR 400. The required fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted by the authorities. If the fee is not paid before the final date, then the applications will not be accepted.

While filling out the HP LEET application form, the candidates will have to upload the required documents. The scanned passport-size photograph and signature has to be uploaded as per the official specifications. If the candidates are unable to upload the scanned documents, then the application form will not be accepted. If there are any discrepancies in the specifications of the scanned documents, then the authorities will not accept it.

No. The candidates will not be able to access the HP LEET application form offline. To participate in the examination and admission process, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the HP LEET application form online at hptechboard.com. While filling out the application form of HP LEET 2025, the candidates will have to provide personal, academic and contact details. No other mode of application will be accepted by the authorities.

The counselling rounds for HP LEET 2023 will be held in two rounds:
- Phase 1: This phase will be held for all candidates who have qualified for HP LEET 2023.
- Phase 2: This phase will be held for candidates who have not been allotted a seat in Phase 1 and who have opted for the spot round.
The dates and timings of the counselling rounds will be announced by the Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Board (HP Tech Board) on their website.
