The exam pattern outlines the chapter-wise marks weightage, marking scheme according to the question type, total marks, and exam duration. The questions are divided into objective type, very short answer, short answer and long type.

HPBOSE Class 12 exam pattern has been revised to ensure transparency in the evaluation process. The revised pattern will be implemented from this year's HPBOSE 12th 2026 exam.

HPBOSE Class 12 exam pattern has been revised. This year's board exams will be conducted as per the revised exam pattern. According to the HPBOSE Class 12 revised exam pattern, all the sets of the question papers will have same questions. However, their sequence will be changed. The boards have introduced MCQ questions. MCQs will account for 20 per cent of the total marks.
