Yes, the authorities do prepare tie-breaking rules in case two or more candidates secure the same marks in HPCET or the qualifying exam. In such situations, firstly, the candidates who have a higher HPCET score in Physics will be ranked higher, followed by Chemistry. In case the tie still remains, then the qualifying examination marks will be taken into consideration for allotment of ranks. Finally, if the tie does not break, then the candidates who are older in age will be allotted the higher rank.

The authorities releaseS HPCET result online. Candidates will be able to check their obtained scores and ranks through the HPCET result. No login is required as it is available in PDFs.
