The HSTES counseling is conducted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana. It is conducted for admission to all colleges in Haryana, not only for the Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions. Generally, results are announced 4-5 weeks after the process has started. In 2025, the process was started on 5 June, and the ranks were allotted on 10 July 2025.

Yes, you can get admission to BTech at Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions without participating in the HSTES counseling. You can also secure admission to the course by participating in the JOSAA (national-level) counseling, or you can also get direct admission under the management quota.

The cutoff was released as the opening and closing ranks for admission to the BE/BTech, courses. During the South Point Institute of Technology & Management BE/BTech cutoff 2024, the last-round closing rank was 492762 for the General AI category students. Of all the BE/BTech specialisations, the one that faced fierce competition was B.Tech. in Civil Engineering. The first round cutoff rank for the same stood at 492762.

Candidates seeking admission must have a valid HSTES score to be eligible for the admissions. Through HSTES, candidates can get into Kurukshetra University for BTech and BTech Integrated courses. The SRM University CSE cutoff 2024 for the last-round stood at 159 and it is continously decreasing every year as per the previous year trend, wherein, 2023 and 2022 cutoff stood at 402 and 225, respectively, for the General category students in the All India quota. So, the assumed expected cutoff for the upcoming admission session 2025 can ranged between 100 and 200 for the General AI category candidates, specifically, for the CSE cours

Dates of HSTES application process for admission to B.E. / B.Tech courses at AKIDO College of Engineering may vary based on year. In 2025, the applications will open on 5th June. There are no exams for HSTES. The ranks are given based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main exam.

Yes, you can get direct admission to B.E./B.Tech at South Point Institute of Technology & Management without HSTES. You need at least 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Math, and one optional subject like Chemistry or Biology. Apply directly through the college website or contact the admission office.
