As per the internet, BA at PU is offered across Economics, History, Sociology and Psychology specialisation, among others. However, students must select the specialisation on the basis of their interest and past academic background and not on the basis of its popularity. Candidates seeking admission to the BA or BA (Hons) course at Panjab University must have an aggregate of up to 60% in Class 12. This is the minimum aggregate that is needed to pursue BA (Hons) in Economics or BA (Hons) from the campus of PU. Also, for other PU-affiliated colleges offering numerous other specialisations, the requirement might also vary. The last date for UG application at Panjab University 26 June which started on June 2. Candidates selected after all the course-specific selection rounds are required to confirm their admission by paying the admission fee between July 21 and Aug 7. Yes, Panjab University offers a three-year undergraduate BA or Bachelor of Arts course in both regular and distance modes via its constituent/ affiliated colleges. The course is offered in both part-time modes, under distance learning and on a full-time basis. The screening process considers marks secured in the last qualifying exam and no entrance is conducted by PU for admission to this course. A course-wise placements report has not been released by the university as of now. However, the JNU NIRF report 2023 is out. As per the report, in the 2022 placements drive for UG 3-year courses, a total of 21 students were placed out of 353 students while 332 students were selected for higher studies. As of now, the university is only accepting online application form to get admission for MA course at Prof. Rajendra Singh University (Formerly Allahabad State University). Students required to pay the application fee while applying for MA course at official website.

As of now, the university has not mentioned about last date to apply for MA course. Further, the application and registartion for PG programee (University Course) which includes MA admissions is on going at the Allahabad State University.
