For masters in English programme the eligibility criteria at Lovely Professional University is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's degree (any discipline) or equivalent.

Both are good but it is more beneficial to choose subject combination according to future goal. With B.A. ( Eco +Maths) you have more opportunities. But I suggest you to be more clear with future goal so that you can make better choice.

School of Petroleum Management (SPM) uses CAT/ XAT/ NMAT score as an input for the admission process of MBA. The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to the programme is a Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC-ST candidates) or equivalent CGPA of any of recognised university in India or abroad. So from above you are not eligible for MBA of SPM if belongs to general category.
