Hello Brijesh, The minimum eligibility to apply for UGC NET exam is post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks from UGC recognised universities for general category candidates. The UGC NET exam is organized twice a year for selection of lecturer and junior research fellow in national institutes and universities. The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam conducted for the same purpose. The basic difference is that the Science stream candidates can apply for CSIR NET while arts, commerce, and other stream candidates can apply for UGC NET exam. The B.A. Option usually involves taking fewer courses in psychology and more classes in subjects outside of the major field area. A Bachelor of Science degree will focus on more Science and mathematics courses. Students pursuing a B.Sc. In Psychology may have to take more lab and statistics general education classes.
